Wire

Wires bring us light so it is fitting that I celebrate the wire. This photographic collage entitled, "Red, Blue, Green Wires", is part of a short series that has recently been added to my portfolio at www.artpal.com/alansnyder.

Alan N. Snyder

I have worked in the entertainment lighting industry for many years and now I focus on fun art projects as a hobby.

I enjoy making images that are primarily made from light or at least strongly utilize light in some way. I am also working on small, fun sculptures.

One of my most recent and my new favorite art project, I hope that you like it too.  I call it "Color Wheel".  It is a tribute the the old style stage lighting effect of putting a motorized color wheel in front of the lighting fixture.  Things are all computerized now and there are even video projecting stage lights on the current market. It has been very exciting to watch the evolving technology of stage lighting effects.
